This is for a Gibson 1968 SG Melody Maker Junior Guitar. Great Vintage Gibson with a Fat Neck that weighs 7.0 Ilb with a Vibrola Tremolo! Nice Mahogany body and Neck. It is all Original other then Old German Made Schaller Tuning Keys that have been on it since the early 80s. The only Flaw is the Rear Strap Button pulled out years ago causing a Chip in the Top layer of wood and a couple of finish cracks around the area. It was repaired years ago and it is Strong with no issues. I have played this guitar many times live over the years and It stays in tune perfect even with strong Tremolo use and the Original Single Coil sounds way bigger then it looks. Perfect vintage Gibson tone similar to a Vintage P 90 tone wise in my opinion. The Neck is a fat profile that gets bigger as the neck goes toward the body. The original frets have some wear but feel great and have years of Life left in them. Gibson has always had the longest lasting frets, especially from this era. A very Cool guitar for the money. It ships in a Nice Padded gig bag. Pro Packed. It has some finish checking all over and some buckle rash on back with a few dings here and there but still nice overall.
