Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol S61
The Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol S61 offers the ultimate in control over NKS (Native Kontrol Standard) software.INTRODUCING NATIVE KONTROL STANDARD™KOMPLETE KONTROL continues its evolution with Native Kontrol Standard (NKS™). NKS is Native Instruments' extended plug-in format that opens up the KOMPLETE KONTROL system. It allows VST and KONTAKT instrument developers to integrate their plug-ins with KOMPLETE KONTROL and MASCHINE at the same deep level as KOMPLETE Instruments. This means that even instruments not built by NI can be fully integrated in the KOMPLETE KONTROL and MASCHINE browsers, with instrument parameters intelligently mapped straight out of the box. NKS instruments can access the Light Guide, Smart Play features, and the full creative potential of KOMPLETE KONTROL. And what's more, the NKS version of an instrument will be a free update for existing owners.Native Browser
Third-party instruments are tagged by the manufacturers themselves, ensuring that these tags are relevant and useful. NKS instruments show up alongside your KOMPLETE Instruments in the Native Browser – total browsing unification.
Native Map®
Native Map is also extended to third-party instruments. This means that plug-in manufacturers can design mappings that suit the instrument specifically. And that you get useful, musically-relevant parameters mapped to the eight control knobs automatically when you load an NKS instrument.
Light Guide
Light Guide revolutionised playability when it appeared on the KOMPLETE KONTROL S-Series keyboards. Now, third-party instruments can use this industry-first technology to easily display key switches, sample mappings, and keyboard splits.
Smart Play
Every NKS plug-in is set up to make use of the creatively-empowering Smart Play features in the KOMPLETE KONTROL software – including the touch strips, scale mapping, Chord Sets, and the powerful arpeggiator.
Unified Browsing
Dig deep into thousands of sounds with ease, thanks to the unified browsing workflow of Komplete Kontrol – limitless inspiration in a single plug-in. Search for sounds across all Komplete Instruments using musical tags and keywords. Just press the Browse button, turn the push encoder to select your instrument, choose a sound, and go. The keyboard and all its features remain fully functional even when in Browse mode – never stop performing.
Automatic Parameter Mapping
Native Map™ technology guarantees you don't need to worry about mapping Komplete Instrument parameters ever again. Each Komplete Instrument was mapped in-house by Native Instruments' sound designers. All essential parameter names and values load instantly on the Clear View display, and are intuitively grouped into pages. The result: You see exactly what you're editing directly on the hardware, whether it's EQ in kHz or the exact frequency of a filter cutoff – without any setup time.
Expert Guidance
Use the Light Guide™ to identify drum cells, key switches, phrases, and more at a glance – play every Komplete Instrument in full colour. In scale mode, notes in the scale light up on the keyboard, with the root lit even brighter – perfect if you aren't a trained keyboard player. In chord or arpeggiator mode, all triggered notes light up when you press a key, so you always know exactly what's happening.
Multi-Purpose Touch Strips
Deliver dynamic performances with two ultra-sensitive touch strips. They can mimic the behaviour of pitch and mod wheels, and physical objects like springs and bouncing balls for interesting modulation curves. Or create instant shifts with different stepped settings.
Arpeggiator
Use Komplete Kontrol's arpeggiator to turn one note into a full musical performance – directly from the hardware and independent of the instrument. The eight controller knobs manage parameters such as direction, rate, rhythm, patterns, and variations.
Scales
The integrated scale mapping features give you instant access to a world of melody. See notes of the currently selected scale lit on the Light Guide™, and set virtually any musical scale to the white keys. It will even re-map 'wrong' notes so you're always in tune.
Chords
Activate chord mode and create a rich harmonic performance by playing single keys. Map chords simply by selecting mode and inversion, or by loading up a chord set – ready-to-play progressions to inspire and augment your own compositions.
Advanced MIDI Capabilities
The Komplete Kontrol S61 also features extensive MIDI control for third-party instruments with the included Controller Editor software. Adjust touch strip behaviour, configure keyboard splits with Light Guide™ visual feedback, and create custom templates. When you use Komplete Instruments and third-party instruments together in a session, Komplete Kontrol S61 automatically switches between MIDI mode and Komplete Kontrol software when you select a track – uninterrupted workflow.
Built For Komplete
The Komplete Kontrol S61 keyboard was designed and built for Komplete 10 and Komplete 10 Ultimate – the most powerful tools available for production, sound design, and film, TV, and game scoring. This keyboard is also compatible with Komplete 9 and Komplete 9 Ultimate.

Arturia V-Collection 5 Virtual Instrument Bundle (Serial Download)
V-Collection 5 is the biggest update to Arturia's flagship software bundle to date - their definitive collection of classic vintage synthesizer and keyboard instrument recreations.
Arturia's V Collection 5 is your one-stop dream collection of the legendary keyboards behind many of the hits ranging from 60 years ago to 6 minutes ago. Arturia's award-winning modelling technology faithfully reproduces the way the original components behaved, delivering the very soul of these instruments in a way that samples simply can't.
They also took giant leaps in augmenting them with features the hardware inventors never dreamed of—like bringing polyphony to the mono synths you've always loved. With over 5000 designer presets, the included Analog Lab 2 makes it easy to harness all that power to find just the right sounds for your sessions and gigs.Enhancements Galore
Even though the landmark instrument designs that inspired the V Collection have survived the test of time and are still in use today, why stop there? Arturia have kept the control panel of each virtual instrument extremely authentic, yet a single click opens a whole new similarly styled panel containing new features and enhancements you've always wished for—and many that will surprise you.

The 17 Software Instruments
ARP2600 V
With its very raw and dirty character it is easy to create massive drum n' bass stabs to growlin funky bass lines and spaced out drones. The ARP2600 V is a truly versatile sound creation tool with a bite.
B-3 V
The king of electronic organs, the rich sounding B-3 has been a staple of jazz, gospel, hard rock and reggae—and pro studios everywhere—for over a half century. Its electromagnetic tonewheel design gave it a beefy quality not found on later transistor organs. Our faithful homage includes a rotary speaker, plus updates like drawbar modulation for new animated and syncopated effects.
CS-80 V
With its ground breaking design and earth shattering sounds, this massive sounding synth has featured on poles apart recordings from the good times of soul of Stevie Wonder to the electronic tension of the Blade Runner soundtrack. We do highly recommend the CS-80V for pads and string sounds.
Farfisa V
Much lighter than a Hammond and more cutting than a Vox, the Farfisa transistor organ helped drive the effervescent sounds of 60s Top 40 hits, and has kept bubbling up across upbeat genres ever since. It also wanted to be a synth when it grew up, which Arturia have aided by adding user-definable waveforms, DAW sync for tremolo/repeat, more envelope control and integral effects.
JUP-8 V
The Jupiter-8's success, initiated in 1981, took every one by storm. In terms of sonic possibilities, it complemented its competition by bringing something different. The Jupiter-8V is a real workhorse capable of creating very versatile sounds. You could easily make 'fat' or 'Crystal' sounds with it. With the new modulation possibilities and effects within the synthesizer path it goes far beyond the original.
Matrix-12 V
This super synth of the 80's will allow for limitless creation and sonic capabilities. Know for its lush pads, creamy leads and wild effects the Matrix 12 is the king of polyphonic analogue synths.
Mini V
From the starship funk lead lines of the 70's, to the gangster whine of mid 90's hip-hop, the ever present Minimoog has been making its phat presence felt for over 3 decades. The highly awarded Mini V is now even polyphonic and has extra modulation options making it a Memorymoog emulation as well.
Modular V
Whether recreating the abstract tonal qualities of the classic electronic soundtracks, or pushing forward the sonic boundaries of today, the Modular V is the synth of choice for sound exploration, anywhere, anytime.
Piano V
Piano V delivers nine world-class pianos, ranging from 9ft concert grands to studio uprights to unconventional designs. Rather than stacks of samples, they're all based on Arturia's award-winning modelling technology applied to the sound and mechanics—strings, hammers, sound boards, mic positions and more. Finally there's a piano emulation you'll truly love playing.
Prophet V
When a punchy fat sound is demanded the search no further. Whether emanating from the beat boxes of 80's New York or from the electro dub club sound systems of now, the sound of the Prophet V keeps it moving. The Prophet VS brings you a unique crisp digital sound that easily stands on its own, but at the same time is complimentary to the sound of pure analogue synthesizers.
SEM V
Tom Oberheim's SEM was one of the first self-contained synth modules and was further distinguished by its unique 12db-octave multimode filter. His first polyphonic synth was actually a combination of individual SEMs connected to a digital scanning keyboard which, since each voice was slightly different, gave it a very alive sound. Arturia have recreated an 8-voice version with added modulation matrix, noise, sub-oscillator, arpeggiator and portamento.
Solina V
The classic sound of the Solina String machine is one that was copied, sampled and imitated but never recreated with the level or realism that is found in Solina V. Lush strings, models of both the MK1 and MK2 ensemble circuits and the famous Vox Humana sound from the 1978 Polymoog keyboard make this a must have.
Stage-73 V
The tine-based electric pianos of the 60s and 70s featured a rounder sound and longer sustain than the competing Wurlitzers. They've been used by a who's who of keyboardists, especially for jazz, funk and ballads. Arturia have modelled the Stage 73 and Suitcase 73 right down to the tines, pickups and circuitry. They've also included a tube amp model and classic effects for the full experience.
Synclavier V
The Synclavier V faithfully recreates and improves on the elite digital synthesizer that powered some of the biggest hits and film soundtracks of the early 80s. Its unique fusion of additive and FM synthesis technologies made for a stunningly diverse and unique universe of cinematic pads and evolving timbres. Arturia partnered with original designer Cameron Jones to faithfully build the only emulation ever attempted.
VOX Continental V
The Vox Continental was the hit-making organ sound of the 60's. The pinnacle of the transistor organs of the 60's and 70's, every aspect of the Vox was created here but we didn't stop there. We also give you the tone shaping of the Jennings J70, full rank drawbars, an added waveform, effects and more.
Wurli V
The reed-based electric piano was brighter and tighter that the Rhodes. Mellow at lower velocities, its voice took on a rougher bark as it was played harder. This made it a favoured electric piano for rock and funk players—and another perfect example of something that Arturia's physical modelling nails that sampling can't. Arturia have added lots of tone-shaping options, guitar amp, rotary speaker and effects boxes.
Analog Lab 2
Analog Lab 2 gives you streamlined tag-based access to 5000+ of the hottest presets from this award-winning V Collection of 17 faithfully modelled legendary classic keyboards—including combinations and effects. Each preset automatically maps the most important sound parameters to your KeyLab or MiniLab for intuitive tweaking and performance control, and you can easily custom map to any controllers via the MIDI Learn feature. You can even save the presets you need for a gig into a playlist to step through during your sets. Analog Lab 2 is also the command centre for all your V Collection keyboards, giving you full editing access to any full instruments you own.
