THIS IS A ONE OF A KIND, ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY!!! THE WHOLE PACKAGE AND WAY MORE!!! AN INCREDIBLE GUITAR AND A HUGE COLLECTION OF RELATED EPHEMERA!!!INCLUDES ORIGINAL PAUL STANLEY SIGNED ENDORSEMENT DEAL WITH IBANEZ!!! PRICELESS!!!First generation of this phenomenal instrument. This was one of the most expensive guitars in the Ibanez catalog. Just like Paul Stanley, it's larger than life! It has all the top of the line features including a stunning ebony fretboard with split abalone position markers. The multi-layered abalone binding has aged beautifully and is in excellent condition overall. Chrome metal control covers on the back. It has professionally installed, discreet but very effective coil-splitters that give the option of a very brown humbucker tone or a bright single coil effect. Mirrored plastic pick guard and truss rod cover with a small compression fracture from the top screw. It has some minor dings, a scuff here and there, a very thin split in the side finish that appears age related but not structural and some buckle rash. Except for one extremely small chip the buckle rash is hard to see unless it's reflected under a light. Nothing major and all commensurate with a 35+ year old instrument. Very, very nice overall condition. Also includes its original plush lined Ibanez case in excellent condition. From a pet and smoke free environment. Blue tape on case is for inventory purposes only and will be removed prior to shipping.ALSO INCLUDED IS A MASSIVE AMOUNT OF EXTRAS: Pictures, cards, original advertisement, hang tags (both an original and a reproduction), a huge file of PS-10 info and history, riveted strap, KISS picks, KISS keychain, a poster of Paul in KISS costume playing a PS-10, a copy of Guitar Aficionado magazine featuring Paul and his guitars including several PS-10s, an original KISS concert program from the late '70s that has a full page ad for the PS-10 and a miniature version of this guitar and...THE ENDORSEMENT DEAL BETWEEN IBANEZ AND PAUL STANLEY!!! SIGNED BY PAUL STANLEY!!! The terms are fascinating and insightful as this was in the infancy of "star endorsed" guitars. A true piece of Paul Stanley, KISS and Ibanez history. The signature line for Jeff Hasselberger (if you don't know him, Google!) is unsigned and undated but it is definitely a formal legal document and definitely shows its age. It looks to have been originally filed in a two hole, metal clip file. There are slight rust marks around the staple and there are lines and indents mildly outlined in rust that look like paperclips had been used on it at one time. Surprisingly, it is barely three pages long!
