Acquired from the original owner, this 1966 Slingerland Gold Satin Flame shell pack drum kit is a joy to behold. The finish is beautiful and jumps right out at you. The drums measure in at 12” mounted tom, 14x5” matching snare, a 16” floor tom, and a 22x14” bass drum with all 3 ply maple shells. This kit still has all the original heads on these drums. Most you can see the logo and name, on a few the original owner used the drum spray from years ago that was supposed to enhance the life of the heads, but wiped out the tops of the heads in the process. This Slingerland Gold Satin Flame Shell Pack Drum Set is a used item in VG+ condition. No major scratches, dings or marks on these drums, but there are items worth mentioning. There is some pitting, cloudiness and light rusting showing from age and storage on the rims and other chrome pieces. None of this seems too problematic as these were a single owner, none gigged set, so this is from age more than use. The floor tom shows minor seam lifting and discoloration around the wrap seam. The mounted tom shows some discoloration in the finish below the mounting bracket. The bass drum is clean and comes with the cymbal mount. The snare has rusty, but original, snare wires and the throw is in good working order. Please note all of these descriptions are pictured in the listing with other pics available on request.
