The Yamaha MX49 is a 49-key synthesizer with amazing sounds and DAW integration. It is designed from the ground up to be an excellent addition to a home studio, giving you a wealth of tools to get creative and record amazing electronic music.The MX49 has over 1000 voices from the legendary Yamaha MOTIF XS series, giving you premium sounds previously only available from some of the best synthesizers available. The range includes acoustic sounds such as guitar and piano as well as synth sounds as complex 8-element voices. The streamlined interface makes setting up the MX49 a breeze, allowing you concentrate on making music. One button layer and split allows voices to either be split across two ranges of the keyboard or layered together.As well as providing sounds the MX49 has VCM (Standing for Virtual Circuitry Modelling) effects to emulate classic studio effects from hit records. They include equalization, flanging and phasing and simulate those vintage units right down to the circuit level.The Yamaha MX49 isn't just a synthesizer keyboard, it also incorporates a bi-directional USB interface. Audio can be recorded to the host machine, as well as being streamed back and out of the MX49's high-quality DA converters. Connectivity is provided for both studio monitors and headphones. For additional integration the entire control surface of the MX49 can also be controlled from a VST plug-in. This opens up a multitude of options to the user, including loading past settings simply by opening projects and utilizing DAW automation to control the MX49.Included with the MX49 is a copy of Cubase AI plus the Steinberg Prologue and Yamaha YC-3B plug-ins, meaning you don't need to get an extra software to start getting creative with the MX49.
