For Sale, a Fender Custom Shop Stratocatser heavy relic in factory fresh condition... This is a Custom Shop Stratocaster from the Time Machine series. These are meticulously crafted based on exact 1960's specifications and then the Custom Shop team applies the desired relic’ing. This model is a heavy relic and so feels nicely used. The back of the neck has no lacquer on it and so feels very comfortable and whilst the guitar looks properly relic'd, the functionality and playability is first class, Custom-Shop quality. This is a unique model as it features a Seymour Duncan Jeff Beck humbucker at the bridge position - to my ears, it has a ton of grunt on drive settings however it still retains that classic strat rear pickup sound, albeit with a bit more output. The bridge pickup is also wired through the second tone pot to take the 'ice picking' frequencies off of the rear pickup - a very popular modification (all done at the time of manufacture by the CS team). The guitar features Texas special front and middle pickups too which sound like a classic strat. Position 2 splits the humbucker for the traditional start 'quack'. The guitar comes with the Custom shop certificate of authenticity, original case (few minor marks), hang tags, bridge cover, polishing cloth, spare springs, spare switch and keys for the case. It does not come with the tremolo arm unfortunately. Guitar will be posted by next day courier APC and insured as well as packaged securely. UK buyers only please! I also have the original Custom Shop floor traveller and exact spec sheet of the guitar (In pictures) as well as confirmation from Fender of the guitar's origins. I can supply the email confirmation if required.This is an amazing guitar and will be a fine addition to anyones collection. I am only selling reluctantly to fund another purchase.
