For sale is a Charvel Pro-Mod So-Cal in black. It is stock, with the exception of the wiring, which has been upgraded to allow for coil-splitting on both humbuckers, opening up more tonal options. The stock DiMarzio Tone Zone and Evolution humbuckers remain.This is an older Made in Japan (MIJ) model, rather than one of the newer ones which are made in Mexico - the Japanese ones are regarded to be of a slightly higher quality, as they had branded hardware, rather than Charvel's own branded pieces on the Mexican models. The Japanese Charvel necks are very highly regarded also, they just have a great profile and feel in the hand, part of which comes from them being lightly finished with a smooth satin feel. This does lead to the discolouration of the fretboard, but this is common on all Charvel maple necks, the fretboard is not dirty, it is very clean, as are the frets, which have been polished, after which a good setup was completed, with a nice low action and accurate intonation.The guitar comes with original SKB Hardcase, which is in good shape, although one corner has been damaged and covered with tape. This is purely cosmetic, the case functions perfectly and is structurally sound.A better price can be arranged for a cash buyer whom can collect; I am located in the Bournemouth area.If you have any queries, please don't hesitate to ask, thank you.
