'79 The Paul! Description You're looking at a really beautiful vintage 1979 Gibson The Paul guitar in walnut natural finish. It is in very clean shape for a 37-year-old guitar. First thing you notice with this guitar are the incredibly unique light/dark wood swirl patterns on the fretboard. Never seen anything like it. Very minor playing wear on the guitar. But the wood pieces are starting to separate on the lower half of the body. I've taken some close-up pics. The body feels totaly solid but you can see the line along the seam. Frets still have lots of life. T-top humbuckers. Set up nicely and ready to play. Comes with original Gibson hard case and Gibson strap. Please take a close look at this one and compare to others on eBay that are for sale. You'll see the woods on this guitar are much more beautiful, and in better condition than the others out there. I pack better than anyone & back up my guitars with 60-day returns! Please note, I sell in several internet locations and reserve the right to end auction early if it sells elsewhere.
