SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY!Here's an unique opportunity for folks that like to restore OR folks that have always wanted vintage wood to paint in custom color! In any event - you can't go wrong. The story on this guitar is very short - it was ALL original before I took it apart (I do have, pickups, unsoldered and fully operational pots, hardware, tuners etc.) that I will be listing separately for sale. Feel free to contact me if you want all of that - I guarantee it was taken from this guitar, not left over parts from other instruments! The guitar was left next to a fireplace which made the finish fry. The crack on the top is from the previous owner whom obviously wasn't very respectful towards the instrument. With that said, I am certain this can be an ultra easy fix for any reputable facility. In all fairness, I don't consider this a major problem (such as headstock break or neck pocket crack (which never happened to it)) as that part of the instrument has extremely insignificant role to the playability and the overall functionality - I mean you can secure any potentiometer WITHOUT anything but slightly bigger washer and play the neck out of it as it is (which I did for a long time). The neck has never been broken, never repaired, never altered in shape in any way - I removed the gunky and sticky finish on my own (I have my proprietary technique how to do that) and the neck is in its original shape and form as it was when the guitar was made. I want to make sure you understand - this is MAHOGANY neck, ULTRA DESIRABLE and Customs with such feature go for much more money than the maple neck ones! The neck joint is stable and solid as a rock and never had any issues - the body contours have been kept the same without any alterations anywhere! The ebony board is smooth and the ORIGINAL frets have about 20% left on them (there are deeper divots in the first 5 frets). The truss rod is fully operational and the neck doesn't have any bumps/jumps or twists. The original hard shell case is very very worn on the outside however only one latch is broken and the interior is totally fine! Ask any questions you might have, I have owned this for many years and I am finally getting to a storage full of projects so check back from time to time for incredible opportunities such as this one!
