This auction is for a 1990 Ibanez RG750 in ruby red. the body has some minor surface scratches/pick scratches but nothing major. there is one small nick in the neck on the thumb side - just a small nick in the finish that goes down to the wood and has some discoloration - about the size of a ladybug. the guitar has the kind of cosmetic flaws you would expect from a guitar of this age - oxidation on the screws, oxidation of the pickup poles, some wear on the bridge saddles. the frets have some wear and are probably ready for a re-crown and/or fret level. this was a played guitar, not a stored guitar or showpiece. it has the typical thin finish crack at the neck pocket that most ibanez of this era have. it is only in the finish/clearcoat, not in the wood, and has no effect on the neck's stability. at one point, i had emgs in it and had to do some extra routing in the control cavity to accommodate a battery, and i didn't do a great job of it - it's not pretty - but it's invisible with the pickguard on and you will have room to install a battery if you need to down the road. includes the ibanez case shown in the photos, which is also in good shape for its age - latches and hinges work.shipping is to the continental united states only. no zero feedback bidders. email with any questions.
