Up for sale is an All-Original Yamaha VG-STD Electric Guitar Made in Japan. This guitar looks like it's been gently handled and virtually unplayed. Other than some typical/minor aging issues that come with normal handling(details below), it is in 'Collectors Grade Condition' and easily a 9+.
Structurally, this guitar is solid and without issue: Neck is straight with no visible fret wear; Electronics work like new and sound great; There is a very subtle/minor hairline crack in the finish on each side on the neck pocket in the body - typical/minor and strictly cosmetic (see pic - difficult for me to capture with my camera skills).
Cosmetically overall this guitar is extremely clean with issues that are virtually unavoidable with normal handling and time. There is some typical/mild tarnish/pitting in some of the gold hardware(see pics) that occurs from handling and age. There are some extremely mild marks along the bottom side that I can't capture with my camera. There is mild 'bubbling' in the clear coat at the edge of the frets(see pics - nothing even close to separation or cracking). If you're one to scrutinize every inch with a bright light, you might find something else but it would be negligible. This guitar is in better condition than many 'brand new' guitars hanging on store walls and is easily a 9+.
Guitar plays, looks, sounds great and needs nothing. If you've been looking for one of these, you'd be hard pressed to find one in cleaner condition.
