No reserve auction starting at $2600 for this original and very good condition 1961 Gibson Les Paul Jr 3/4 scale guitar.  Its all original and working.  Gibson shipping records from 1958-1961 show 547 of these being shipped.  Much less than the full scale model but due to low demand these are not hard to find.  Serial number is 22153 impressed into the back of the head stock.  22 3/4" scale length with a 1 5/8" narrow nut width.   19 frets in great shape.  Guitar does weigh 8 lbs and 3 oz.  Kinda heavy for a small guitar.  Typical mahogany neck and body with Brazilian Rosewood fret board. Original cherry red finish with one serious ding in the neck near the body and one on the upper front horn with some nicks and scuffs and lots of weather checking.  The dings can be seen in the photos.  Original pots, cap, pickup, pickup cover,  knobs, output jack, jack plate, tuners, nut, tailpiece and tailpiece screws, and strap buttons.  Pots just cleaned.  Comes with the original simulated alligator case in good condition with working hinges, latches and handle.  Just set up with Daddario EXL-115 .011-.049 strings.  Plays fine.  USA sale only due to Brazilian rosewood.      Shipping via UPS Ground fully insured included anywhere in the continental USA.    Happy Bidding!!!
