This was put together as a backup of my main live guitar, however as I'm moving back to 335's it's surplus to requirements.It's not had more than 3 hours playing time on it since it was put together.It is made up of the following Mexican HS body, neck and trem unit.Gotoh vintage style tuners (way better than the originals)New scratchplate(still has shrinkwrap on it)MIJ early 90s pickups with original covers, my favourite pickups in jazzmasters, very telecaster esq.500k pots for a slightly darker tone(i didnt get round to putting any knobs on the shafts, as the shafts will need to be cut down to take a normal fender knob).I didn't bother wiring in the rhythm circuit as I never use it.It was professionally set up after it was put together so its good to go.A unique sounding, versatile guitar, great for most styles and the pickups sound great clean or distorted..I'm just looking to recoup what I have spent on this guitar. You won't find a better(playing or sounding) Jazzmaster for the money.It's on par with my main guitar (if anything this neck is slightly nicer)but this has a sunburst finish where as my main jazzmaster is all black(call me shallow).It's in great condition cosmetically apart from one small ding on the lower part of the body. U.K. Only sale, I will pack this extremely well, Postage is £35 with parcelforce and includes insurance.
