Description
Brand: Paul Reed Smith

I purchased this 1989 PRS around 1997, and have hardly played it since 2002. As such, it's almost a time capsule in terms of condition. I purchased it from Wolf Guitars originally. Was recently set up, new GHS strings, and the G-string post was replaced with a standard post because we couldn't find the locking tuner lever part. If you have the part, it could easily be replaced, or you could update all six to the current set up. This way, the choice is yours.
The black piano gloss finish is in great condition, with a few belt scratches on top (pictured). You can see the light maple around the edges, so whereas this doesn't bear the obvious flame or quilted top, you catch the hint of a flame around the edges. At the time, it seemed a bit unique to me. It will ship in its hardshell case, with additional packing around it.
On Feb-19-17 at 08:04:01 PST, seller added the following information:Just a few items of clarification, since there have been quite a few inquiries: The pickups are original. As it was explained to me when I purchased it, the original owner (I am second) selected the cream colored pick ups to coordinate with the exposed blonde maple rib around the body. The bottom two saddles were also already different when I bought it. Shamefully, I didn't know enough at the time, to understand the explanation of why they were different, other than it was intentional. I do not have the original 'build sheet,' just some reference pages as it relates to the electronics and installed equipment. The tremolo bar is included. Thank you so much for looking!
