Here is a Gibson Les Paul Custom Sunburst that I bought new in 1974,from Harry Landis Music in Sydney. By the serial No, 182824 , you can work out from the Gibson site that it is a 1973 model but probably by the time it came from the US and sat in the shop for a while,and I came along and bought it, it was then 1974. They call this model the fretless wonder because it has 3/64 of an inch frets,which are very small compared to the jumbo frets they have now,so its like playing a guitar with no frets. Hence the name,fretless Wonder. It plays like butter. I played it for about 8 years then went on to shift work and gave up music. It was at my mother's house for 25 years untouched. Then I took up music again and became a collector so it still had not much playing. Now I am retired and want to travel. I can't take them with me,so I'm selling all of my guitars and amps.
