1993 Fender USA '62 AVRI Stratocaster in excellent condition. Comes with original G&G tweed hard case complete with original 'ashtray' bridge cover, original trem arm and case candy. Unfortunately I do not have the serial number hang tag.The guitar plays like a dream and has quite strong pickups - bridge 6.16k, middle 6.43k, neck 6.44 There has been a 5-way switch factory fitted. The neck pocket on the body is date stamped Sep 23 1993 and the neck butt end is date stamped Oct 4 1993. All pots are date stamped 9241 (between 5th & 11th Oct 1992). Neck plate has serial number V057790. I appear to have been the first person to have opened the guitar up since completion by the looks of the dust etc. Everything is authentic and as it should be. Pot, neck, body dates are all reasonably close. There are no issues with the guitar, no bashes, dings etc, only a small bit of paint chipping around the neck plate (common for these reissues) and the usual slight play wear from home playing. This one appears to have been a genuine 'closet classic' with extremely little fret wear or any wear on the lovely dark rosewood board. This is a very rare and beautiful early 90s USA 62 Reissue which are getting more and more difficult to find. It sounds amazing, is a delight to play and in genuinely fantastic condition for it's age. Free UK shipping.
