1999 JS 1000 in beautiful Black Pearl finish. Solid basswood body, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. Great playing and great sounding guitar, the one Joe Satriani plays himself. Coil tapping tone knob switches pickups from single coil to humbuckers. Dimarzio pickups have a wide dynamic range and punchy sound. Floyd Rose tremolo and locking nut keep this guitar tune. There are 2 hairline cracks on the back of the neck near the nuts, but they are not thru cracks and do not affect the plating or tuning. A few misc Nick's and scratches on the body, as you would expect from a 16 year old guitar. One bad bruise by the output jack where it was previously dropped, but does not affect functionality. ProRockGear Allen wrench holder mounted to back of headstock for the Floyd Rose tremolo system. Incredible tonal versatility, just like you hear from Joe Satriani himself ! Brand new Ibanez hardshell case included. Fret markers are inlay decals which are removable, if desired. Low, low price, only selling because I need to thin the herd.
