Gibson Les Paul Custom Shop Axcesswith Floyd RoseFirstly, the name Axcess refers to the sculpted neck/heel joint, which makes upper fret access a breeze. This was then made available with two bridge options, the traditional LP style bridge and tailpiece, and then this one with the Floyd Rose trem.As i recall it was available in solid black, wine red flame and this one in Ice Tea burst - which was by far the nicest.Its basically the same guitar as the Alex Lifeson(Rush) Les Paul which is considerably dearer.It features a Burstbucker 1 and 2, which both split to singles from the PP bridge tone pot(this was replaced a few years ago as it was very loose) - otherwise the controls work exactly the same as a regular LP.I have owned this from new and its been very well looked after and other than a bit of light belt swirling on the back above the Floyd Spring cavity its almost as new and has no knocks dings or dents worthy of mention.
