Hello. You`re bidding on a Fender Japan Telecaster, in a color called Taos Blue, that is in near mint/excellent condition. This guitar was made by Fender Japan and comes with a soft case, chrome bridge cover, and extra set of guitar strings. As Bruce Springsteen once said of the Telecaster: "The Fender Telecaster was an economical, no frills, pure workman's tool. Its design was all function. Its sound, thin and hungry, a guitar that lets your fingers do the talkin'...I knew the two guys who played mine before me. I bought it in a local guitar repair shop used - for $185 and never looked back. Teles rule!" All original specs are detailed, including neck shape, fingerboard radius, hardware, pickups and electronics. Here are the specifications of the guitar: SERIAL NUMBER: Made In Japan T054896, COLOR: Taos Blue, BODY: Alder, NECK: 1- Solid Piece Maple, 'C' Shape, 25.5 Scale length, 9.5 Radius, MACHINE HEADS: Schaller F Silhouette in chrome, NO. OF FRETS: 21, PICKUPS: LACE Neck, Middle, Bridge Telecaster No Hum Single-Coil Pickups, CONTROLS: Master Volume, Master Tone, BRIDGE: Original Fender Telecaster Bridge with 3-T Spiral Barrel Saddles, PICKUP SWITCHING: 3-Position Blade, S-1 Push Button 7 Tone Switch within the center of the Volume Knob, HARDWARE: Chrome, PICKGUARD: 1-Ply White. Included are a black soft case, not shown, Chrome Ashtray Bridge Cover, and extra set of strings. This Telecaster is in near mint excellent condition. The neck is unplayed and the body is blemish free. In taking pictures of this guitar, we used photo lights and the front and the back of the guitar seem to be of different shades of Taos Blue as shown in the pictures. The true color of the guitar, to the naked eye, is the back side of the guitar. The chrome sparkles and the guitar is in itself, unplayed. It features a 3 LACE pickup 7 tone design thanks to the Fender S1 Switch located within the volume knob, Schaller F Silhouette tuners, Fender Spiral Barrel saddle bridge with its original chrome ashtray cover. This Tele plays fast up and down the neck and has a tone and resonance that is warm and deep. We will try to answer all your questions. Have fun!!
