Fender Jag-Stang Fiesta Red A Serial (1997) Kurt Cobain Nirvana CIJ Here is a rare Fender Jag-Stang in Fiesta Red. A great looking Jag-Stang; super clean with a really dark, dense rosewood fingerboard and some distinctive maple graining all over the neck and headstock. The Fiesta Red has nicely aged over the years and to me looks like it is approaching more of a Dakota Red. As you probably know, this was designed by Kurt Cobain, I think he wasn’t quite finished with the Jag-Stang and he sadly passed away before his final changes could be drafted up for Fender. Still I like to think it’s pretty close to what he wanted & that’s good enough for me. Pre-owned but in beautiful condition throughout. She looks hardly played. No paint chips, dings, big ugly dents or scratches. It only has the odd short wispy scratch that kind of thing. Truss rod fine, neck dead straight & I can see no wear in the frets. No mods or repairs. Complete with gig bag and trem arm. A great playing Jag-Stang in outstanding condition.
