Handcrafted in Ovation’s flagship workshop in New Hartford, Connecticut, the Legend features a hand-selected, deluxe AA solid-spruce top with bracing and a 5-piece ma-hogany/maple neck with gloss finish. The classic Mid-Depth composite body delivers balanced acoustic tone and is comfortable to hold and play. A cutaway offers unfettered fretboard access, and the traditional center soundhole is inlaid with an oak-leaf rosette and adorned with mother-of-pearl. With its onboard compressor, the OP-Pro Studio preamp enhances strummed chords, fingerpicked arpeggios, and single-note solos.The Mid-Depth bowl blends elements of Ovation’s Super-Shallow and Deep Bowl designs.
