Description
Brand: Kay "Lark Junior" Country/Region of Manufacture: United States

This Kay made Lark Junior - note the Meadowlark bird decal - is a rare one indeed and based on what little I could find is from the late 1940's.Brownsville, Tennessee blues great Sleepy John Estes can be seen holding a Lark Junior but I have found very few pictures of this guitar anywhere.I have had a recent professional neck reset done as well as the fretboard planed and refretted. I added the new bridge and intonation is just right.Older replacement tuners work fine. Missing the volume knob but the new set pictured comes with if you want to use them. Volume works fine but I do not get very much change using the tone knob.I have not replaced about 2 feet of binding on the back. Easy fix.Normal dings, scratches and some finish chipping.Scale is 25 3/4"Width at Lower Bout is 15 1/4"Plays great and the pickup works as it should with a rumbling tone that will be well-suited for blues, rockabilly, etc. Will ship in case pictured via FedEx Ground Insured with signature required.Ships to Lower 48 States and Other Countries via eBay Global Shipping.
