The Ibanez JS2000-CG is a guitar model and signature model of American guitarist Joe Satriani, introduced in 2002. It is the fifth in a series of JS models. Features include a basswood body, a maple JS Prestige neck and DiMarzio pickups. The Fixed Lo Pro Edge bridge, also known as the FX Edge, is a hard-tail version of the Lo Pro Edge tremolo.The JS2000 was discontinued after 2004. I am the only owner, a guitar aficionado and am just culling my collection. This guitar has been resting in her case most of its life and needs a new owner. Always oiled and polished. All original, no mods. Outstanding condition. No dust nor dirt. There are only two "dings". One bump/slight indent midway up on the neck and one on the tip of the headstock. You have to really look for these. The neck is the famed PRESTIGE. There are slight stress lines in the clear coat where the body/neck meet and cannot be felt. These are NOT cracks. NO scratches. Push/pull pots for tap and series/parallel. Hi Pass filter for clarity at low volumes. 3 way toggle switch. The bridge is super solid. Original Ibanez hardshell case included.
