1965 Guild S-50 Jet Star with the original Hard case. This is a one owner favorite player of a local musician from Talequah Oklahoma.  Still plays and sounds awesome!  Everything works.  I tested the truss rod and it is working great. The Guild S-50 has a cool & unique modernistic design.  It’s got a great set up & nice full feeling neck.  The S-50 is light in weight. The frets are in nice shape.  There is plenty of life left.  There are no breaks or damages.  There is play wear & buckle rash on the back.  There are pings, dings and scratches throughout but mostly on the edges.  The mother of pearly inlay on the firebird like headstock looks really beautiful.  The pickup works great.  The guitar is ready to play and set up the way I like it.  It can be adjusted to even lower action and I left the old strings on it because it has a real warm tone to it that I like. The serial number SA-147 puts this before a 1965 model and I know that they came out with this headstock in 1966 but some claim it to be a 1964. So this could even be a 1964 to 1966 according to Gruhn's Guide to Vintage Guitars.  The cherry red color is a refinish with the dings left in it.  I didn't want the guitar finished to look new again.  I wanted to keep the wear to keep it consistent with some use and it's age. Please see all the photos below and click on them to make them huge.  I took some pictures under UV light and some in the sunlight so you can see the color good.
