1998 Ibanez RG470,MIJapan,Jap TRS Trem,Killer Neck,Upgraded Pickups,Gr8 cond,
1998 Ibanez RG470,Made In Japan in stunning Black Pearl metallic finish,
These have the old ultra thin one peice necks and the japan TRS tremolo,
The TRS tremolo is Japan made, not to be confused with the inferior TRS2 trems
that are made in korea, the Jap TRS trems are made from hardened steel and
and are much better quality n construction than the cheaper korean made TRS2's.
A black perloid pickguard has been added to go with the metallic paint finish,
the pickups are still direct mounted to the body as normal with this scratchplate,
The Pickups have been Upgraded to GuitarHeads MegaMetal Humbucker Set in Blue,
The are High output 15.1K Bridge & 8.87K Neck, The raw & thrashy tone is packed
with tons of output, and harmonic ability. The Megametal is driven by an Anisotropic
Ferrite Magnet (a High-end Ceramic), and is Wax Potted for Microphonic Suppression.
Brutal Screaming Lead Tones, Great for hard rock & Metal but clean up nicely as well,
The back of the neck has been lightly sanded n buffed down to a matt/satin feel for that
Ultra fast silky shredders feel, the neck feels great to play & has a super slick fast feel,
These older One piece necks are really hard to beat and are super thin & ultra fast,
and the Amazing grain pattern on these older One pce maple necks are just stunning,
These are def one of my favourite ibanez neck profiles and why they are so famous,
Has been given a full setup n service, frets polished, board oiled etc & restrung with
D'Addario EXL125 9-46 for the Ultimate in tone n playability, setup with a killer low
action, it is an absolute Shred Machine & an absolute pleasure to play n shred away
on for hours on end, the guitar Looks Plays N Sounds absolutely Killer,
MIJapan Ibanez RG470 with Upgraded Pickups in Black pearl finish in great condition,
setup & serviced n restrung ready for new owner to rock out n shred away,
