Thank you INTRODUCING EXCELLENT EXAMPLE OF THE MARTIN COMMITTEE Bb JAZZ TRUMPET FROM THE LATE 1950s MARTIN ERA ( NOT / STILL PRE RMC ) IN ORIGINAL FINISH CONDITION . HORN IS MEDIUM MOST POPULAR BORE WHICH HELPS THE PLAYER CUT WITH THE SOUND THROUGH THE CROWD OF THE SMALL JAZZ CLUB . SERIAL RANGE IS #20xxxx ! THIS IS THE HORN/MODEL OF THE JAZZ LEGENDS ESPECIALLY MILES DAVIS WHO MADE THE MARTIN BRAND FAMOUS WORLDWIDE ! THIS MARTIN COMMITTEE IS IN USED / PLAYED CONDITION . It looks not far from mint lacquer wise considering age with small blemishes from age but does not appear to be played much judging the original lacquer condition. There is minor lacquer wear spot on the 1st casing you can see on photo with the mouthpiece receiver stamped Deluxe. There is some sort of white lacquer surface ( small dots ) sprayed a bit on the bottom part of the bell and the end of 3rd slide and water key of that slide. ( looks like someone was painting/spraying something else and Committee was near it ) This is the bottom of the horn so it's not visible to the player or the audience when horn is played as it faces the floor. It looks possibly more drastic on photo than in real. There is also a small dot of similar kind on the top nickel pipe of the tuning slide. My repairman just took out very small wrinkle on the side of the bell ( not a major repair ) It only left very thin line which kind of blends in with flower engraved bell and another line inside then bell. These are very hard to notice. My repairman also took out two very small dings on the inner surface pipe of the tuning slide job very well done and without any resoldering and these two were small dings. I asked him about white lacquer spots and he told me to leave it alone because cleaning it would cause original Martin lacquer to come off as well so it's not recommended . Great horn . Mechanical condition is excellent with smooth valves with no wear on Pistons and great compression. There are no dings, dents or any resoldering around this horn. Again this trumpet was not much played much as condition shows. It is still in a highly desirable serial number range horn and slightly younger than Martins from the 1940s. All parts are original including 3rd slide ring. Case is original and latches are perfect and original handle is very good as well as well as original silver Martin mouthpiece. Case side belts are in very good shape someone enforced these with black tape on the tops and bottoms on both sides ( see photo with horn laying on the case ) PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS AND BUY NOW OR MAKE SERIOUS OFFER !
