Custom Fender Telecaster. This guitar is a Squier Classic Vibe Pine body, a 2014 Mexican maple neck with heel adjustment. All the hardware and the pickups are US made. The control plate and wiring was done to the highest standard, with the best quality parts available. The pickups are on solderless connections so easy to change if needed, also making a reliable jointing method.
The pickups are from the US, they are GFS 1962 professional range for tele. They are amazing sounding pickups, which are wound a bit hotter for more grunt and output. They handle all types of music from country to funk and metal to punk. They really sound like vintage Fenders from the early 60s. For clean tones they sound so clear. This guitar out guns US Standard teles with ease. It is the perfect guitar for in a studio environment. The tone is what everyone looks to a tele for. The neck is very comfy and has a good finish. It has a little fret wear, but has tonnes of life in it. The body is solid pine and gives the guitar that bright spanky sound, reminiscent of the 50s teles. The body has a few dings in the finish but nothing that effects the guitar in any way. It has just been restrung with Ernie Ball Slinkys 10-46. The action is medium to low which is my preference. As with all the guitars I put together I make them as if I was keeping it for myself, which happens on a regular basis. You play it and grow attached. This guitar can be viewed and tried out before purchase on arrangement. Cash on collection is also welcome. Any questions will get a quick response.
