Heritage Maggini Viola In the design of “ The Dumas” by Maggini, (Brescia c.1600) A Professional level 16” viola with an antique oil finish The present handmade chinrest is a handmade by Alexander Accessories Ltd, a specialist Chinrest maker (the original Rose Guarneri rest is included in the sale) The body is Maple & Spruce and the bridge fitted is also Maple. The fingerboard is ebony At present the strings fitted are Pirastro Obligato. The spare original strings are also included. Although sold as used, the Viola is in first class beautiful condition and working order and looks as new as when purchased in 2010 for £2000.
