This horn model was made popular by jazz player Roy Hargrove as he was playing on lots of his recordings and performances. This horn has been ordered and owned by my trumpet student since 2005 and it's been made for my student the only owner of this horn with the one year wait. This horn was only played at his home and was rotated with other horns so after it's turn it was cleaned and waiting in the case till his next time. Horn qualifies for mint/near mint shape. It only has one very hardly noticeable ping in the bell if looked from audience side it's at 1 o'clock very hard to notice in person. Recently rubber finger buttons were changed to pearl buttons which are more friendly to fingers. This horn sounds really great and and can play nice and mellow with less power but opens up greatly in soulful playing with more power. It works well with both conventional mouthpieces like Bach etc.. As well as Monette mouthpieces ( no mouthpiece included in this listing ) . This horn looks amazing with the finish which Inderbinen calls it similar to Moon surface which I believe is made from some sort of silver/nickel alloy. There is no any other Silver art like it as every one of those rare horns made looks slightly different. This is a Large Bore trumpet with tuning bell and leadpipe both on tracks with no other bracing. Those can be taken out and cleaned one by one when not on the horn. Horn is in incredible shape and very clean and ready to play. I found Adams gig bag with straps and I'm including with this horn for safe shipping. Gig bag is in great shape as well.
