Description

Olivia's Vintage would like to present this late 1950's Kay Upbeat in its original Black finish. The truss rod nut and adjustment are missing from the heel, but it still has a good playing neck with great frets. It's all original with the exception of the bridge, strap button, and the bracket for the pickguard. There is some slight seam separation of the bottom edge where the back of the top and back of the body meets the sides. Some of the binding in that area has been re-glued. The "wings" of the headstock also show some seam separation as the headstock has actually cupped a bit. There are lots of nicks + dings (several have been touched up), finish cracks, and cracked plastic around the pickups. All electronics work and sound great. No case with this one.
