original 1959 Fender DUO SONIC Desert Sand w/repaired neck

Olivia's Vintage would like to present this original 1959 Fender Duo Sonic in its original Desert Sand finish. The neck has suffered a bad break around the neck joint area. It has been repaired and seems solid, but the end of the neck is not playable on the last several frets due to the damage. It's a playable neck, but there is some fret buzz on the first few frets, and a combination of fret buzz and dead frets past the 12th fret. Parts that have been changed include the pots, switch, wires, strap buttons, several screws, the string tree, and one adjustment screw for one bridge saddle (the original is included, but not useable). A later Fender hardshell case is included, but has one broken hinge and two broken latches. There are lots of nicks + dings, finish checking, finish flaked off the edge, and other cosmetic wear. All electronics work and sound great as it still has its original pickups.
