I purchased a 2017 Vintage Sunburst Zach Myers PRS SE about 6 weeks ago and it just isn't working for me. I hoped the short scale, pickups and single cut design would be sound similar to a Les Paul but the guitar just didn't quite gel with me. The new SE models have the PRS signature on the headstock and retain the high quality of previous years. For the $, this is one of the best lines available.The Zach Myers has the advantage of a satin neck (50's C without being a baseball bat), adjustable upgraded wrap-around bridge and semi-hollow design to improve weight. This is a 24.5" scale length (like a LP) and has a thicker mahogany body than most PRS models.It really is a nice guitar and has a unique voice between a PRS and LP. The wide, chunky neck and semi-hollow design create incredible sustain and harmonics when driven. It stays in tune with the straight pull headstock (more than I can say for most Gibson guitars) and is intonated perfectly out of the box. It comes with a high quality gig bag. I also purchased a new truss rod cover (blank) to remove the ZM name which is now installed (not in pictures).Anyway - it has been out of the gig bag three times and has less than 1 hour playing on it at home. It just isn't different enough from my other PRS HBII to justify keeping it around. It's in mint condition, really, new condition. It does have a factory finish defect at the base of the f-hole which just looks like a fine hairline crack in the poly (see picture)- not to wood and not due to any trauma. You barely notice it unless you are looking for it.

The 22-fret 24.5” scale length wide fat neck boasts a satin finish that gives the guitar a very comfortable, woody, worn-in feel. Additional appointments to the SE Zach Myers signature model include PRS adjustable stoptail bridge, vintage style tuners, and PRS SE 245 pickups paired with two volume and two tone controls and a 3-way toggle pickup switch.
