Listing is for this newly completed 1962 style Stratocaster from Virgil's Vintage Guitars.The Specs:Body •3lb. 15oz. one piece Eastern White Pine from the good folks at Clearfork Designs.•Hand shaped 50s spec deep contours.•Finished in hand mixed Nitrocellulose Lacquer. The color is what I would call "smoked out" blond, or butterscotch. Light-medium aging with lacquer checking.Neck•Fender Lisc. MIJ maple w/slab rosewood board.•Hand shaped profile with rolled fingerboard edges.•Medium "C" profile•21 vintage frets (.079" x .043")•7.25" radius•Nut width 1-5/8"•Truss Rod adjustment at heel•Neck thickness .84" at first fret, .95" at twelfth fret.•Finished in hand mixed, tinted Nitrocellulose Lacquer Electronics•Rumpelstiltskin custom "Transition" pickups.Wound to 1964/65 spec. Alnico V magnets and plain enamel wire.Neck 5.8K ohmMiddle 6.2K ohmBridge. 5.7K ohm.Brilliant tone that's somewhat mid scooped. Great presence, clarity and balance.
