Please find a good condition medium large bore silver plated professional Yamaha YTR 734 model Bb trumpet with a good condition gig-bag case offered. Also offered is an excellent condition silver plated 7C mouthpiece and 2 mutes. The serial number is 016884A yielding manufacturer date to 1969/70. The bore size measured on the 2nd valve slide measures .458" (ML is stamped on the valves). The bell diameter measures 5.0".If you do your research as you should you will find that the 734 model was designed in collaboration with the Yamaha and the Schilke instrument manufacturing folks to be comparable to the Schilke B5 model. The most current Yamaha model similar to this horn is the Yamaha 8335RGS and the Schilke B5. The YTR 734,  Zeno 8335RGS, and the Schilke B5 all have reverse main tuning slides and 5" bells. The silver plating is in fair to good condition with some plating loss. Some evidence of dent removal and solder joint repair. The original mouthpipe(from mouthpiece receiver to main tuning slide top leg) has been upgraded with an 8335RG mouthpipe to improve tone and playability. The part was ordered from Allied Supply. The instrument has been chem cleaned and thoroughly cleaned inside and out. The horn was ultrasonically cleaned as well. All new valve stem corks and felts. Excellent port alignment. New waterkey corks. The 1st valve thumb saddle and 3rd valve finger ring adjustments moves freely without drag. Excellent valve speed and compression. The Protec gig-bag case is in good condition. The zipper pulls have been replaced with keychain rings that work to close the zippers. No zipper open/closing hangup issues. It has been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized with a hospital grade disinfectant. The horn will be thoroughly hand polished again the day before shipping. It will be clean, shiny, sanitized, valves oiled, slides lubricated and ready to play right out of the box. With the large bell and reverse main tuning slide this horn projects well with a big warm sound. If you are a collector and not a player this is not a mint condition horn so please shy away. This instrument could however serve a good player as a horn to throw in the car to go play with the guys on weekends. Who knows it may become your holy-grail axe. Feel free to ask questions. Thanks for looking.
