This is a custom, luthier constructed hollow body 335 style electric guitar with the Rat Fiddle Logo. Rat Fiddle is a small custom shop here in North Carolina and we are proud to offer their instruments exclusively on the internet. They are planning to offer several models beginning in the spring and will be putting up their own website, but for the time being - we are the only place that you can find these guitars on the internet.The guitar is completely wood but it has been treated with a thin coating of ACTUAL metal and then treated with a process to rust it. So this is not a "paint" that "looks" like rust.....it's RUST. There has been a clear sealer sprayed over the coating so the rust doesn't come off at all. But even though this guitar looks like it's made of metal, it's actually a typical wood guitar.The hardware has been hand reliced one piece at a time and the guitar has been constructed and set up with 9 gauge strings by a professional luthier. All the parts work perfectly and the guitar sounds great. The pickups are mid-level in quality but are easily replaced with whatever humbuckers you would want (the covers can be put onto any pickups that fit).
