You're looking at a one of a kind, Charvel San Dimas 1984 Strat body original Serialized #4080. There are no modifications or refurbishments to this guitar: everything except the strings are the original factory components. Included in this auction are the original bill of sale, case, price tag, whammy bar, alan wrenches, and factory warranty, signed by Eddie Winkler. Only 4490 serialized San Dimas were ever produced, running from 1981 until 1986. Only 1322 came out of the factory in 1984. This guitar was purchased new in 1984 and has remained with the original owner since then. He no longer rocks, but this guitar still does! Charvels were made famous by bands such as Ratt, Poison, Van Halen and several heavy metal groups. Now its your chance to grab hold of a legend!History: Purchased new at Briar and Hale Music Store in Liberal, Kansas, in August of 1984, by T. Watters. Toured the central United States into the mid 90's at which time, Mr. Watters was put on a leash (marriage). Has remained stored in a safe since then.Specs: Right handed, maple-wood Jackson style neck (unfinished), Jackson style headstock, Kahler locking tremolo bridge with whammy bar, black volume and pickup selector, with solid white strat style body.Condition: Excellent (90%) Scratches/dings on body, no damage past the finish (most damage on back), metal components show signs of regular wear.
