DescriptionThis Yamaha guitar is perfect for adding nylon-string tone to a wide range of musical styles from latin to jazz, Pop to Rock. Built on the classical platform, Yamaha's NTX700 acoustic-electric classical guitar features a cutaway, for comfort when playing in the higher register fret positions. This NTX starts with a solid spruce top, for warm, balanced tone. The neck, back, and sides feature nato, a soft hardwood for a balanced, crisp sound and full volume range. The Yamaha NTX700 acoustic electric guitar also features the A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement), an original wood reforming technology developed by Yamaha. Through precise control of temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure, the molecular properties of the wood can be manipulated into a more acoustically ideal condition, similar to the molecular characteristics of woods in instruments that have been played for years.Like most Yamaha's, this NTX700 plays and sounds great. Comfortable action and feel. The neck is straight and the action is good. The pickup delivers realistic plugged in tone. Everything works as it should. This is a nice, very clean used guitar. Bought new and recently traded in, it shows very minor play-wear in the form of surface/Clearcoat Swirling. Very nice looking. Comes in Aftermarket Thomann hard-shell case.A top quality cutaway acoustic electric nylon string can be tough to find.
