This guitar is basically brand new, minus the fact that it is almost 20 years old. I bought it off my friend 2 years ago, and he was the original owner. Purple guitars have never really been my thing, but he told me this was a rare color that was only offered for 2 years. Having done a little bit of research on it, it seems like he was not kidding. That being said, I haven't so much as taken it out of the case in the last 2 years other than to change the strings, so I think it would be better off going to a home where it can be better appreciated. I'm slowly starting to come to terms with the fact that regardless of how many guitars I own, I won't sound any better, so maybe the closet space can be better served housing stuff like - clothes....or maybe more Les Pauls...I dunno, I never managed to sound all that great on a Tele... Oh yeah, winning bidder gets the original Fender hardshell case (WOW). Seriously, please give this guitar a good home. I feel bad never playing it.
