Hallo, Nachdem in letzter Zeit gleich mehrere Gitarren bei mir ein neues Zuhause gefunden haben,muß ich nun doch meinen Bestand an Gitarren etwas reduzieren…. Deshalb verkaufe ich eine Washburn J-6 Archtop Jazz Gitarre, ++ bestehend aus MAPLE TOP, BACK AND SIDES ++ 650mm SCALE / 42mm NUT ++ MAHOGANY NECK / ROSEWOOD FINGERBOARD ++ WASHBURN CLASSIC HUMBUCKERS ++ FLOATING BRIDGE / W TAILPIECE ++ GOLD TUNERS ++ PEARL SPLIT BLOCK INLAYS ++ Serial number J6 - 9104006, Baujahr 1991 Diese J6-Serie mit diesem Baujahr wurde wohl damals noch in Japan hergestellt. Später ab ca. 1994 erhielt dieses Modell den Zusatz „Wes Montgomery“. Ab ca. 2001 folgt das Modell J6-S (erkennbar an dem „W“-Logo im Saitenhalter). Hier wird im Forum auf der Washburn hompage gerätselt, ob sich dieses „S“ auf ein anderes Deckenholz oder ein anders Zargenholz oder aber auf den Standort der zwischenzeitlich nach Korea verlagerten Produktion bezieht. Diese rund 25 Jahre alte Gitarre klingt immer noch rund, mit einem weichen und warmen Ton. Der Produktionsstandort Japan hatte damals schon einen sehr guten Ruf. Technisch ist die Gitarre in einem einwandfreien Zustand. Der Hals ist tadellos und gerade. Das Griffbrett und auch die Bünde befinden sich in einem guten Zustand. Optisch gibt es aber schon einige Kratzer und Stellen, an denen man sieht, daß die Gitarre gespielt wurde. Ein „dongs“ befindet sich auf der Oberseite der Zarge (siehe Fotos). Die Gold-Optik der Hummbucker-Abdeckungen läßt an den Seiten nach. Fotos sind teils mit und teils ohne pickguard. Ich hatte es für meine Art „fingerstyle Jazz“ abmontiert…. Der beiliegende Koffer ist vermutlich nicht original. Der schwarze Bezug hat ebenfalls einige Kratzer. Aber auch der Koffer ist technisch in Ordnung, d.h. es ist nix verzogen, es klemmt nix, die Plüsch-Innenseite ist in Ordnung und auch die Schließen arbeiten alle einwandfrei. Versandkosten in Deutschland = 10,-- Euro. Internationaler Versand ist möglich. Bitte berücksichtigen Sie evtl. höhere Transportkosten bei Versand ins Ausland (25,00 - 55,-00 Euro). Bei evtl. Later in 1994, this modell was namend “J6 – Wes Montgomery”. After 2001 the modell J6-S followed (to recognize in the “W” in the tailpiece). In the forum of Washburns homepage, they discuss, if the “S” in the model name “J6-S” stands for another kind of wood for top or for the side or for the city in Korea, to where the production of guitars was moved back then. The sound of the 25 years old guitar is still very fine, smooth and warm. The people in Japan knew very well how to build great guitars. Technically the guitar is in a very good condition. The neck is straight, the frets and also the fretboard is fine. But surely there are some scratches and things, where you can see that the guitar was in use. One “dongs” is on the upper side of the guitar (see picture). The gold-look of the humbucker covers gets weak at the corners. Some picures are with and some without the pickguard. I took it off for my kind of fingerstyle jazz playing…. The cases I guess is not a Washburn case. The black top of the cases also has some scratches. But technically the cases is ok, that means the wood is not warped, everythings fits and the closing mechanics do work fine.
