Shergold Modulator electric guitar in wine red finish.Shergolds are increasingly collectable and I don't seem to see as many as I did 10 years ago. This Modulator comes with the basic Module 1 with the Telecaster like controls, you can get other modules if you can find them but they are rare.Marks and dings around the body and light indents to the back of the neck.Frets are a little flat on the tops, there is still meat left but if I remember correctly this is kind of how Shergold frets are.The Shergold logo is one of the flat type without the perspex cover ( not missing, it never had one) this is a little worn.Serial number on a metal plaque inside the Modulator cavity 2634 dates the guitar to 02 Aug 1980 going off the Shergold website database.The guitar is in used condition with marks, small dings, knocks and wear. The strings are new 10s and the action is approx 2mm - 1.8 mm bass to treble at the 12th, perfectly playable but not super low like a modern Ibanez.The last modulator I had was Sunburst and sold for £795, thats what I'm asking here but I may take a near offer.No case but will be well packaged and boxed for shipping.Check out the full size pics below.
