My 1st Ric jangled & made smooth jazzy sounds.
New, this one sounded less lively.Now, the wood has aged & it sings well.I installed a Ric Humbucker pickup for jazz.I installed a Ric Vintage pickup for 60's jangle.I installed a Ric Modern pickup in a new center slot for punk/rock.One mini-switch chooses between bridge/center pickups.The other mini-switch chooses humbucker series/parallel. It plays mono, or stereo with two mono cables.The original Ric knobs are in the case, but not used.The stereo effect is real, not just a gimmickand is worth bringing a second smaller amp.It's like a 370-12, but more variety of sounds.It is unique on stage or in the studio.
