For sale is my beautiful Stratocaster which has been professionally refinished in nitro Tahitian Coral, and aged. The body has lots of beautiful crazing to it, and obviously some dings and wear marks to go along. The tremolo is made by Bharat Khandekar - one of the top UK luthiers. He fitted these to David Gilmours tour Stratocasters as David didn’t like the stock Fender ones. This is vintage correct - i.e. the tremolo arm goes into the block at a slight angle, as opposed to 90 degrees, as on new trems. The neck has been replaced with a period correct All-Parts Fender Licensed rosewood neck (i.e. vintage radius, thin frets, truss rod at the CORRECT end) and also finished in nitro lacquer and aged. The back of the neck is very smooth, but the headstock has some age related wear, and a little checking as shown in the pics. The pick ups have been upgraded to a Tonerider Pure Vntage set with orange drop caps, vintage wire and CTS pots. It’s all been finished off with an Art of Ageing relic’d hardware kit including Kluson Delux tuners, aged screws, strap buttons, string tree, neck plate, and mint scratch plate with bakelite style pick up covers. This really is a stunning guitar - it sounds, feels and looks fantastic and has been professionally set up. It’s so much better than many Custom Shop models, and is in a truly individual colour which stands out from the crowd of sunbursts! Only selling as moving house and could do with freeing up some cash.
