Powered by Frooition Pro Carvin SH550 Semi-Hollow Guitar - Tobacco Burst w/OHSC Bigsby "Joe Walsh" Item Description Carvin SH550 Semi-Hollow Carved Top Electric Guitar in excellent condition. Nice Tobacco Burst Sunburst finish on a beautiful flame maple top with matching headstock and chrome hardware. The guitar is set up with a great action and the mahogany set neck with a contoured heel and ebony fretboard with abalone dot inlays has a wonderful feel. The frets are in extremely smooth and in excellent condition.The C22 pickups are harmonically rich, with deep, defining tone and sustain. Electronics consist of a master volume and tone control, with a 3-way pickup selector located on the upper bout. The push-pull tone control doubles as a coil splitter, allowing dual to single coil operation on the pickups. The guitar is equipped with a tune-o-matic style bridge, a Bigsby vibrato tailpiece and Sperzel locking tuners. The truss rod cover has been engraved with "Joe Walsh". We are not making any claims here, but....... We bought 2 guitars together both having "Joe Walsh" truss rod covers. This instrument does not have any paperwork or provenance but the other guitar did. We will include a copy of the original invoice for the other instrument that was bought with this instrument. This has names and dates that with a little investigation should prove that this guitar was owned by "The Man" himself! This guitar is a truly fine instrument made with high quality craftsmanship and materials. The guitar looks, plays and sounds great. Includes the original Carvin hard shell case. Made in the USA. Serial Number: 94636 Weight: 8 lbs. 8 oz.
