As this is a hand made instrument, there are a few minor imperfections but they do not effect the playability The neck is a thick D shape, much more like an acoustic or classical guitarAll electronics work and there are a few tiny dings from playing but nothing major. Check out his site and a few of the videos of his guitars. Eric Joseph is currently suffering from extreme arthritis and is doing much less work now, making these even more collectible.
