The neck is a hybrid 50's rounded - 60's slim taper and she weighs 6.9 lbs on a digital scale. It has just been deep cleaned and detailed. The frets were polished and the fingerboard was cleaned, buffed and moisturized with an instrument grade lemon oil. It was set up with 10/46's, adjusted and plays very nicely. All the electronics work as they should. Please look at all 50+ pictures- they accurately represent the condition of this instrument. An iconic axe, modernized for extreme rock.Gibson's Flying V with Floyd Rose features a solid mahogany body and solid quarter-sawn mahogany neck, topped with a dark Obeche fretboard, which together produce an unbelievable blend of warmth, resonance and sustain. The hybrid neck profile combines the rounded '50s shape with Gibson's sleeker SlimTaper profile, starting at .800" at the first fret and rising gradually to .850" at the twelfth. This tone monster is loaded with two high-gain Seymour Duncan pickups for fierce sonic performance, which produces sounds from brutal crunch to wailing, screaming leads with almost infinite sustain. They crank out plenty of attack and aggression, but can still caress your ears with tonal sweetness when required.This Flying V is equipped with a genuine Floyd Rose vibrato unit and locking nut for the ultimate in tuning stability, whether you are executing extreme divebombs or more subtle whammy moves.
