For sale here is my heavily modified Fender Strat. It was made in Mexico (2006 I believe) and is in a nice and rare satin purple colour with a Maple fretboard.The guitar has been modified in a number of ways, the most major modification is the pickups which have been replaced for the Di Marzio Billy Corgan set, which are humbucker sized single coils, so a BC 1 in the neck, a Chopper in the middle position and a BC 2 in the bridge...Just like the Fender signature edition. The switch has also been replaced for a super switch to offer the same switching options as the signature edition. The jack was also replaced at the same time with a new Switchcraft one. At the same time I shielded all cavities with copper to reduce unwanted noise!I have replaced the tuners with black locking Schallers which cost around £90 from the US. I also swapped the string tree with a black one to match. At the other end of the guitar I have swapped the vintage style saddles for modern ones, also in black to tie in with the rest of the hardware. Also including in the sale is a fitted set of Dunlop Straplocks and Ernie Ball strap. In total all of this cost me around £800 including the guitar istelf, which of course I don't expect to get back, but I've had fun doing it! The guitar plays great with a nice low action and no issues whatsoever. Condition is very good, with only a few very small marks here and there, I have pictured the worst of these so hopefully you can see there is nothing at all major.Collection is welcome, but I can post the guitar for £25 for 48 hour Parcel Force. I can also ship to anywhere in the EU for £50.
