The wood has had the benefit of 10 years of seasoning and sounds amazing”. The Gibson Les Paul Custom has faithfully replicated from the original 1957 Goldtop model - but with a few modern twists. Despite its journey through the years, the Les Paul Custom has managed to keep up with the times without a hitch. Perhaps one of the most recognizable finishes, the '57 Gibson Goldtop is an iconic instrument and was one the very first Les Paul's to use and popularize the Humbucker pickup . This Beautiful guitar features a one-piece mahogany neck, carved maple top and warm-toned mahogany body. A Rosewood fingerboard with pearl trapezoid inlays gives it a bright attack. Gibson also includes a bound body, neck, and head with nickel hardware. It also features two BurstBucker pickups in the neck and bridge position.
