We are proud to offer this original, stunning and one-of-a-kind, 1955 Epiphone Century. We have offered a lot of vintage Epiphone's in the past, but hands down, this is the most unique and amazing one we have had. We are HUGE BB King fans and the only other time we have seen a Blonde Epiphone such as this one is on the cover of his "Singin the Blues" (see pictured, not included) back in the day. It is an exact match of his model. Of all of the years we have been doing this, this one is the only 1955 Blonde we have seen or offered. The blonde finish is gorgeous, and is very similar to the TV Yellow finish that Gibson introduced around the same time as this guitar was built (in the USA). This particular guitar appears to be all original and has been obviously cared for over the years. It actually looks like it has not been taken out of the case for a long time, if at all recently. It has survived in beautiful condition with hardly any evidence of play wear. The blonde finish is VERY nice and original. Has a couple little fade spots on left side as seen in pics.There are small divots in the fretboard and flat spots on the frets in the 'cowboy chord' position, but due to the overall condition of this guitar we have decided to leave it as is. Those who prefer tall frets would most likely want to have this guitar refretted for the best playability. We love the way this guitar feels and plays. Our fingers seem to just dance up and down the fretboard. It really is an amazing one and would make a perfect Christmas gift for true vintage guitar fans.
