I'm considering letting my old ESP LTD EXP-200 go. I bought this beauty in a guitar store in Manhattan, New York on my summer holiday in the summer of 1998. The color is what ESP labels as "Olympic White", and I replaced the original humbuckers with two EMG-81s sometime around year 2000 (we all wanted to be James hetfield, right?). The work was done by a professional luthier in my hometown of Bergen, Norway. The original hard shell case is included, and apart from taking the guitar with me home to Norway in 1998, both guitar and case have barely left my house. Apart from a miniscule crack near the neck (see picture) and a bit of wear on the 12th fret inlay, I would say the guitar is in mint condition. Feel free to ask for more photos if you want.On the warranty card included the serial is listed as "01229" (see picture), but I've been unable to find any useful information about the origins of the guitar. Apparently, ESP was not too concerned with registering information in the old days.I've listed the guitar as made in 1998 because that's when I bought it brand new from a New York guitar store, but I have no way of knowing if that was the actual production year.I have other guitars now, and have barely used this one for the last 5-6 years, so I reckon it's time to consider letting it go. As most of you already know, this guitar was discontinued many years ago following the Gibson lawsuit, and these beauties are EXTREMELY rare to come by. The guitar is currently located in Bergen, Norway, but I assume worldwide shipping is no problem. Back in 2013 I bought a 1981 Gibson Explorer via ebay, and had it sent from New Jersey to my local post office in Bergen with no problem at all.As I'm having trouble estimating the value of the guitar and because I'm still rather emotionally attached to it, please consider making a fair offer and I'll consider letting it go.Thanks for looking!
