This guitar is in very good condition, and comes with a fitted SKB hard shell case and Fender Noiseless pickups. There is a a ding in the paint about half an inch long, though luckily it doesn't affect playability. I've done my best to show it in the pictures.This is a 2000 American Series, the first year that series was produced. According to Fender history, in 1981, the American-made Stratocaster was renamed the Standard Stratocaster to avoid confusion with other models. In 1986, it was renamed the American Standard Stratocaster followed by American Series Stratocaster in 2000 and then the American Standard Series Stratocaster in 2008.
